26 Feb always been extremely positive
My experiences at Sanaa Studios over an eight year period, have always been extremely positive. From the first “Impasto” painting workshop with Corey working with a paint-scraper and adding texture – enlarging compositions-intuitive painting & semi abstracts with Carol Crichton & Mazola to workshops in ceramic with Supersad and Harrack. I have learned techniques and opened up multiple areas of exploration and media aiding me in a full-time career in Fine Art, where I am always the student. Through the workshops at Sanaa -I built various series and created works for sale and Bios entering the art festivals and National Visual Arts Competition winning the Jury First Prize in 2013 on second entry. and two silver medals awarded at the current 2018 competition.(Kingston Conference Center til Sep 2). I return to workshops at Sanaa Studios whenever possible to work in the salubrious studio atmosphere & participate in group art dynamics, critiques, research and discussions re well-known & unknown (to us) contemporary artists and movements with other random artists in attendance. I am grateful for the guidance support and talent of the excellent artists who lead us and the staff who display calm, joy and general upliftment every day
